The Manawatu Hotel is a historic hotel located in Foxton. Having recently been purchased and refurbished by local couple Dahlson and Jan Halidone, they have given the place a new lease of life with live music and comedy nights.
Dahlson's family have lived in the area since the 1800s and he used to run a tourist riverboat down the Manawatu River. Passionate about local history, he currently displays a selection of photographs in the bar, giving visitors an insight into Foxton's past.
Enjoy a casual drink and meal with friends, or book into one of their comfortable guest rooms.
