What is not to love about a being able to go to what I think is Aucklands best foodie/farmers market and have your pooch babysat while you stroll around at your leisure trying out local delights 

    What a beautiful way to spend my Saturday. The food on offer here is so delicious and fresh. This ceviche was such a yummy fresh and healthy lunch. 

      We often head up to Matakana for a day out. The farmers market is a great visit - the place is buzzing, and you can try and buy some neat stuff - not to mention also have a great lunch.

        The Matakana Farmers Market is a wonderful Saturday morning outing for a wide range of top quality food and produce at reasonable prices. Come early to beat the inevitable crowds at the height of summer holiday season.

          What a beautiful cool little spot. There were great stalls, lots of people, live music and we even went for a small bush walk. Its a great place to spend a Saturday walking around and trying things out. Definitely worth the drive up from Auckland

            We love going to these markets for the atmosphere and yummy treats available.  They have live music and a friendly vibe.  There's lots of samples to help you decide what to buy and take home.  We generally have lunch here and sit at one of the picnic tables by the river bank enjoying the music.  Definitely worth the drive from Auckland, feels like you are on holiday.

              Love these markets as the best in local produce is available at very resonable pricing. I love walking through the markets and taking in all the delicious smells. Parking can be very tricky, so the earlier you get there the better!  I alwasy leave with a full tummy and a smile on my face and a bag of goodies for later

                Love these markets. The best of local produce on offer, delicious tastings on offer and wonderful ambience with live music. A must try is the churros or Dutch cheese!

                  These markets are amazing. Nestled in the beautiful township of Matakana the location couldn't be better.  The produce is wonderful and it's the perfect way to sample a range of culinary goods in a relaxing atmosphere.  A popular family morning out for locals and tourists alike!!

                    If you like markets this one is definitely for the taste buds.  There is so much local produce and its all of a good quality standard.  Its hard not to be tempted into trying all the yummy samples on offer.  It has a great atmosphere and is really well laid out and presented.  Some saturdays they also have live music playing which is fun to listen too whilst you go about your shopping.
