  Being a 24 hour McDonald's in a place like Orewa is great on those late drives home when nothing else is open for miles. Unfortunately late at night, more often than not something is missing from the from the order. But, it should be noted that of the couple times that I have there during the day they are friendly and have not had any problems.

    I visited this McDonald's today and was quite disappointed with the speed of the service. Even though there was only two customers (including me) it took quite a while for my only item a cheeseburger to be delivered to me. My mother also ordered a coffee from the McCafe and that took a while also. The layout is also quite strange here with the seats being right near the counter. However the lady that served me was quite friendly which was nice to see at McDonald's. 

      Very lovely staff but the tables are very dirty at times and drive through is very slow at times.

        It is great to have such a handy McCafe - I drop in here when I am the Orewa Market each Saturday morning, parking always easy, good coffee, friendly, fast service.

          Unfortunately my experience has always been a very slow service there...

          For some reason we always seem to be hungry and in a hurry by the time we hit Orewa ( usually coming back from family visits in Whangarei). This McDonalds is a good one. I know from coming here over the many years.  Plus its a drive through so I don't have to park unless the kids need to stretch their legs or have a pit stop. A safe option if you want a quick snack or meal in a bit of a hurry.  Good parking and easy access through the centre of Orewa. ( Follow the drive thru signs)
