Okay so we did have to wait a fair amount of time until there was a table ready for us. There was five of us and it was a Friday night though, so understandable. The decor is exceptional, they have done an amazing job with the place. Staff inside were incredibly friendly, the girls on the door however were hugely unorganised and not the friendliest and acted as if they were above their job and everyone else dining at Mexico The food came very promptly after ordering and was delicious. I would recommend trying the Spicy chicken wings and the sangria. Best sangria I have had for a while. Grab your friends and head to Mexico for a fun night out.
The decor inside is fantastic, really colourful and bright. Even the staff are wearing pretty flowers in their hair. It's a good place for a drink, dinner or a snack. Their tacos are quite mini and pricey but they're super creative and flavourful. The wine jug is a really good way of sharing alcohol at a table. The menus are beautiful on brown recycled paper, though I feel bad when they get dirtied and have to be thrown away!
We stopped here for a bite one afternoon after seeing how popular it is in the night. It was a good decision! I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom quesadillas. Was expecting high prices but it wasn’t the case at all. One star off for lack of nachos and not that many veg choices. The decor was interesting too :)
I went and tried out Mexico's new menu with some friends the other night and it certainly didn't disappoint. Such good value for money and the food is always delicious. While there is often a wait for tables, they usually overestimate the time so it's never been much of an issue. Definitely a favourite of mine as it lives up to its hype well and truly.
The atmosphere and bustling nature of Mexico automatically ensure that you're going to have a good time whilst dining there. The red lights and Mexican artwork create a moody-yet-fun atmosphere. The menu is tapas based, so order a few dishes to share. The tacos and cerviche are AMAZING and I recommend leaving a little room for the churros as the end! There is a large range of drinks to choose from including chilli beer and a great looking margarita list. I opted for the traditional margarita (served in a small glass) but will be back to try some of the other sorts. The staff are both attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!
This place was cranking on a Monday night when I visited, table for two, toreador posters and waitresses wearing adorable floral headpieces so you could spot them easily. We, my sister and I, found it so hard to decide what to have, so we ordered pretty much everything, and it came think and fast, washed down with sangria and some pretty good margaritas. There wasn’t enough space on our cute little table for it all! The salsa were all amazing, lovely flavours and everything was exceptional considering the prices are so wallet-friendly. It’s not the best Mexican I’ve ever had, but the nice touches like home made tortilla chips, and the incredibly attentive service make me think this place is here to stay. I will be back. They were even kind enough to wrap the mountain of food we couldn’t get through in individual packets of foil to take home. Our bill? Just a hundy. Not bad!
