Rainy day brunch time calls for Eggs Montreal (although, I'll be completely frances - I'm not sure what DOESN'T call for Eggs Montreal in my books) and my first thought was, if my family has resided down the road from this place for six years now, WHY have I only just discovered it? A gorgeous little cafe with corner cafe prices. I paid only $14.50 for a very reasonable and tasty portion - not the best I've ever had, but far from the worst for sure - and the latte I had was pretty good, too. The proprietor is genuine and cheery, the decor is like a garden centre - airy and light with plenty of greenery and some cottage kitsch thrown in. There are plenty of magazines and papers to feast your eyes on while you're filling your tum and in the back of the shop there are some comfy couches to relax with friends. Truly a local treasure, this is definitely my new morning debrief spot.

Love the decor in this place. Lots of space but enough tables for a crowd.

Great prices especially for scrambled eggs on toast.  comparable to jafa for quality, but much cheaper.  Awesome service and friendly staff, a great local haunt.
