I really do like it here!

Known for it’s award winning food by chef Grant Dicker, Mint is tucked away in the back streets of Nelson but well worth searching out. Mint serves, as far as possible, local food and produce so you can be sure the chestnuts in your local chestnut and white chocolate cake with chai latte sorbet and poached mandarins came from trees growing not too far from here. Yum.

Mint’s chef Grant Dicker has won hallmark of excellence awards from NZ Beef and Lamb and the Trip Advisor Certificate of excellence. Currently on the menu is ightly smoked angus beef sirloin, reubin tortellini, beetroot gratin, feta, beef cheek & mushroom goulash, or try lamb rump, braised shoulder parcel, shepard’s pie cos lettuce, parsnip purée, truffle. Worth going out for even on a cold winter night.

A truly fine dining restaurant experience and sure to impressive your date. Meals range from $31 to $123.
