Wow my first time to Casita Miro and this place really lives up to the hype. Absolutely stunning surroundings and I have never in NZ had more authentic Spanish tappas 

    Absolutely fabulous place to spend a summer night, great food, wine and service!

      Throw yourself down on colourful blankets beneath olive trees & indulge in a Miro Rose & Tapas. Beware. You could end up spending the entire day up there.

        I love Casita Miro so much I really don't know where to start. I will start with the olives. Olives slow roasted in red wine, garlic and orange zest. We were blown away by these- and our lovely maitre'd even shared the recipe (her mother's) with us. How rare is that? The wines were, of course, to die for and the views were spectacular. I hope that I can go back this summer.

          Casita Miro in it’s great glass sided building over looking the vines and olives to the sea, is idyllic. the menu is ever changing but some bits like the hand made chorizo and patatas bravas are constant and taste Devine. Start with a Madame Rouge aperitif, it’s made from the Miro grapes. Cat Vosper and her team are superb! Best place to eat on waiheke, remember to book ahead.
