Mix Moon Restaurant

Another little gem of the west, this New Lynn haunt celebrates the flavours of South-east Asia. I always order the Crispy Moon prawn wontons with sambal sauce and the beef rendang curry puts a pep in my step. My mum loves the Mango Chicken.

Amazing food and excellent service. Food was at our table within 15 minutes of ordering and it was a full house.

Great ambience and great food. The waiting staff are very friendly and courteous. Their wine selection is also superb. They serve authentic South Asian cuisine from the various countires and hence a wide variety of options to choose from.

Did you know that they offer a 10% discount off their menu when you do takeaways??? Oh yes, their food is fabulous as they cater to a wide variety of South East Asian cuisine.

Wonderful flavours and a varied menu - we loved it and will be back again!

Had the best Rendang here for my birthday dinner. Delicious crisp roti and very attentive service. Was a little surprised at the $10 corkage fee but food was wonderful all the same.

We went to this restaurant for the first time last night, and were very impressed! We did not expect this kind & quality of restaurant in New Lynn - it was on a parr with those found in the CBD or Ponsonby area. Lovely wait staff, quick, friendly and very attentive. And the meals were yummy. A great Thai / East Asian Fusion - lots of choices on the Menu, we will be returning for another try for sure.

Tucked away in New Lynn, this stylish and welcoming restaurant was stumbled upon after hearing that there was a quiz night at Black Salt around the corner. What a fortuitous find! Not only did it blow the other place away in terms of decor, service and price. The food was truly outstanding!!  We will most certainly be back and soon!!!
