Modaks Espresso isn't a popular hipster hangout spot for no reason - they've got some of the best coffee in town!

Their glass cabinet is chock-a-block full of cafe delights - with something to suit everyone's dietary needs - including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and something for the meat eaters too, great when washed down with some of their strong Supreme coffee.

Awesome coffee, service and most importantly, food!!

    The food is stunning, so fresh and with local organic ingredients, service is awesome and coffee unbeatable. What else is there to love?

      Oh, Modaks you're so wonderful! An amazing cafe popular with pretty much everyone, Modaks do some mean breakfasts. Located on the famous Dunedin street, George, this cafe is a unique and inspired hangout.

        If you’re thinking brunch and are in Dunedin then you can’t get past Modaks. The vegetarian brunches are unreal and the coffee is some of the best in town. The quirky and kitschy decor makes the cafe a chilled out space to hang out in.

              An inspiring, grungy space with some of the best cafe food in the city, Modaks Espresso is the perfect date spot. The coffee is great too.

                Again, not a fully vegetarian café, but a very popular café for the vego lovers. Vegetarian pizza is a regular hit among patrons, as is the vegetarian nachos (served with beans, as opposed to meat- delish!). A hangout for all walks of life, this café should just hurry up and become all vego, because that’s all anyone orders
