Mojo Coffee Wellington Zoo

If you’re in the area of the zoo but the weather’s looking patchy or you don’t want to fork out ~$20 per adult pass, pop into the Mojo Coffee branch on the zoo’s premises and enjoy a coffee in front of the pygmy marmoset exhibit. Pygmy marmosets are the smallest monkeys in the world, and are found in the rainforests of central America. The four that live in the enclosure at Mojo are entrancing, and great entertainment for the price of a cup of coffee.

All Mojos I’ve been into post baby are good for parents and babies, but Mojo Zoo is awesome. The change facilities are out of the cafe in the Zoo entrance and they are fantastic (good chair, changing facilities, even a microwave if you need to heat up food or bottle - although some parents don’t like to use a micro for this, I’m cool with it). The buggy fits into the room and there is even a toilet for mum (told you my needs were low maintenance)!

Pygmy marmosets are the smallest monkeys in the world, and are found in the wild in the rainforests of South America, where they live in big, familial groups: Wicket and Cuzco, as the pair at Mojo are called, have recently welcomed a tiny addition to their little family.
