We visited this cinema a couple of weeks ago with a group of friends and really loved it -- will definitely be coming back again soon.  A bonus is $11 adult tickets on any Monday or Tuesday -- it's hard to beat that price!  At first I was disappointed there was no popcorn, or ice cream cones (my highlight of movie visits) but I got over that pretty quickly and enjoyed my Rush Munros ice cream.  May I suggest you take your own teaspoon if you are planning to have an ice cream, the Rush Munros ice creams are supplied with built-in miniscule teaspoons and it took a long time to eat the ice-cream, it was liquified before I finished it. Also be warned if you try to pre-purchase your tickets, you can't actually purchase them, you basically just have to "reserve" them and then pick them up and pay for them at the time of the movie. There's no allocated seating here either, so it's first in, first served. The cinema seating is nice and spacious, and the whole place has a really nice 'feel' to it.  Definitely come and give it a go, I'm sure you'll find it an enjoyable experience :-)

This is a really nice place with some special touches and will be going again. My only criticism would be that they had limited selection and supply of snacks and drinks.

This is a lovely little cinema with a good selections of wine and spirits to drink whilst watching your film. I thought the collection of historic photos of Howick throughout the waiting area was a nice touch. This was a movie going experience completely different from buttered popcorn and chewing gum seats, it felt like going to the theatre! Anyone who has been to the Ritzy in London will like this new Howick treasure!
