Karioi is Raglan's mountain and one of my favourite places in the world. The walk to the summit can be a little challenging, depending on which route you take and how fit you are, but the views are worth it. On a clear day you can see Mt Taranaki on the horizon, gaze out towards Te Aroha, and down on Whaingaroa Harbour. Plus, the walk itself winds through beautiful green.
