Mt Hiwi Lodge is a full on log wood cabin. It’s very private and secluded with beautiful views. It has its own nearby lake and an outdoor wood fired bath! A true slice of heaven in Taranaki is what I’ve heard it’s been called before. The wood fired bath is prefect for spring night times as it’s still a little but chilly out! In winter it even gets covered by snow as it’s close to Mt Taranaki. It’s a cosy little place to take the family away for the weekend for a little getaway, and it may even become your new regular.
