Kids menu with free drink & ice cream. It’s decent size bar with lots of interesting features for kids to explore and a separate library bar with a big box of toys to keep little ones entertained. Nice outdoor area out the front, although is right on the main road so need to keep and eye on little ones. Great views of Mt Eden stadium.
Perfect for a sunny day. Good music and lots of beer! The courtyard is an epic spot to meet a crew of friends and enjoy the wide array of Mac’s beer on tap. With live music Friday-Sunday Neighbourhood packs out with people - especially when there is a game on at Eden Park, so be sure to get there early to secure a table in the sun!
This place is great if you want somewhere casual to go for an affordable beer and a burger. They do really good chips with aioli which I like to pair with a Mac’s cider. There's a big outdoor space to sit in or if it’s cold out, the inside is always toasty warm. Big food for a big appetite at this one!
If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy a few lazy beers in Kingsland, I would recommend Neighbourhood Brewbar. There is a large courtyard in the front and the back windows let in a generous smattering of sunlight. The music is laidback, the beer cold and the fit out spacious. Great White is my choice of what they have on tap, but I guess that all comes down to personal preference.
Neighbourhood is my favourite place to go for a casual afternoon drink - it has such a fantastic atmosphere. The outside seating area is large and inviting if it’s sunny, but if it’s not the inside is equally lovely. There’s a great mish mash of chairs and decorations, massive bookshelves, and a huge window overlooking Mt. Eden. The bartenders are friendly, and the cocktails are interesting and always delicious.
