Nelson's Pocket Park is a great little find in this part of central Nelson.

In 2013, chef Michael McMeeken's original concept for Nelson's pocket park was to establish an outdoor dining area in the gap or pocket, left by a demolished building.

Now two years on, the pocket park is thriving with patrons, coming to purchase from the mobile vendors and eat in these funky surroundings with McMeekan, keen to make sure the space is utilised for at last another couple of years.
