With a facelift a while ago, this once kind of odd looking place became an excellent little café. With a slick clean aesthetic, good service and a simple but excellent menu. Coming in highly recommended, the pancakes with banana, a sure fire winner with excellent stacking in form of spaced banana in-between pancakes winning votes. The big breakfast here is also pretty tasty, at $20 its relatively well priced and is especially good for those who into black pudding, cause that’s totally on this dish alongside all the regulars.
Cafe Neo has recently undergone a bright new rebrand and I have to say, it's looking and tasting brilliant! The cafe's a joy to visit, especially in a location where you're sort of starved for choices. My go-to lunch is a couple of the mini bacon frittatas, a side salad and an almond milk flat white (it's one of the few cafes to have an alternative to soy), which comes to a very affordable $12 all up. I'm also impressed by the attentive service there, too – the staff remember my coffee order and even let me text when I'm on my way in the morning.
