This is such a cool way to spend a Saturday night in Tauranga - out under the stars watching a great movie (usually a real classic). The organisers (who are all volunteers) do ask for a gold coin donation (but that’s near enough to free these days). The next screening is this Saturday night (March 14) when they are playing the People’s Choice movie ‘Jaws’. Get in early to get a good possie on Mt Drury, Marine Parade, Mount Maunganui.

    Outdoor cinema is an amazing way to spend one of these balmy summer evenings. Each summer the team brings locals a host of classic movies in beautiful Bay locations - asking only a small donation in return. This Valentine's Day you can head to Mt Drury, Mount Maunganui to watch 1927 French romantic comedy, The Artist. Look out for the flower sellers there too - another chance to spoil your special someone.
