Orams Marine Village Boat Park

Came here today to go on friend's family boat, lovely place with lots of boats, pretty easy to find, has lots of entrances though- so be clear where you are meeting! 

The Orams Marine Village Boat Park is a massive open warehouse space with boats stacked everywhere. A wonder to behold and still heaps of space for people to interact in.

I've had the privilege of being invited to two amazing night events at Orams Marine Village. While it doesn't sound much when you first hear of the venue, at night the place really transforms to a spectacular environment. The combination of the dramatic lighting, the extremely high warehouse ceiling and the hundreds of boats all neatly stacked makes for an impressive ambiance that's unrivaled. The marine part also connects to the water ramp which is a great space for smokers. This place rocks!

This is Auckland City's largest purpose built dry stack facility for parking your boat and it is amazing to visit.  It is undoubtedly the best, easiest place to store and access a boat in Auckland, in particular Auckland CBD. Corporate event organisers are also using the boat park space as a unique venue. I was lucky enough to go to a corporate launch here and was amazed at this unique environment.  Very, very cool event venue.
