The Original Kaikoura Seafood BBQ is world famous in New Zealand.

Situated just 1/2 kilometer north of the Kaikoura Seal Colony, this humble food kiosk offers you outdoor dining in its simplest form with a beach BBQ of the tastiest and freshest of the ocean's bounty.

The BBQ is open every day from 10:30 AM until dark (weather permitting). Sample some seafood delights such as garlic scallops, paua and whitebait fritters, crayfish and mussels.
