The Society's objectives are to protect and promote the history of Panmure, conservation of the places of historic interest in the area and to collect, conserve, operate and display items of historical importance.

Over the years, with the help of the Auckland City Council, and Mt Wellington Charitable Trust, we have produced two “Walk the Panmure Heritage Trail” brochures and placed bronze plaques at some of these sites.

We also have a file at the Panmure Library which can be accessed by people looking for items of local historical interest.
