A great selection of yummy fillings surrounded with a flakey crust. Try the vegetarian stuffed full of stir fry veges, roast pumpkin, potato and kumara in spinach cream sauce or the prawn and garlic for seafood lovers. I’ve heard the pepper steak is absolutely yum too.

What I love the most about pies is how NZ has totally embraced them. There are "Best Pie" award ceremonies and chefs and bakers that are putting in hours and hours of work trying to come up with new and exciting flavours. One of those bakers is Patrick at Patrick's Pies. He has developed a kickass vegetarian pie packed with stir-fry vegies in a spinach cream sauce. Yes, that is the sound of a million vegetarians running down to Patrick Pies right now! Go and join them and try this little beauty out.

We used to immediately think of meat when a pie is mentioned, these days that’s far from the case. Their award winning combination of Stir fry vegetables, Roast Pumpkin, Potato and Kumara in Spinach Cream Sauce is enough to make even a carnivore drool.
