Percy Scenic Reserve is located on the lower slopes of Maungaraki and Korokoro.

The area commonly described as Percy’s contains a lowland forest gully, a small cave containing weta and glowworm, a waterfall, propagation nursery, gardens, and significant rare and endangered plant collections.

The 10-hectare reserve offers the perfect escape from the busy, urban centre of Wellington City. The trails winding through the park are easy for leisurely strolls and excellent for families with small children. Following the trails will lead you to the reserve's picturesque waterfall, a spectacular sight.

A quick and easy 20 minute hike, up a beautiful and well maintained track will lead you to one of Wellington's highest, and most impressive Waterfalls. This track is roughly a 15 minute drive from central Wellington, is suitable for the whole family, and there is even a bench to have a picnic on!
