My favourite thing about Petal cupcakes is their consistency to deliver wonderful treats every time.  You never get a cupcake that is not perfectly baked, sweet, gorgeous to look at and most of all scrumptious!  They are a really wonderful bunch of bakers and they do a fantastic job.

    If you need a little sugary sunshine in your life, a petal cupcake is all you need! Colorful, beautiful and deeeeeelish! Petal cupcakes have been well established in recent years and their cupcakes are well enjoyed by many! Walking into their cupcake store is like Alice walking into Wonderland. It always smells so good and the simple baby blue decor is enough to make you walk out and feel happy for the rest of the day.

      These cupcakes are impossibly good. This summer I'm attempting to try them all! Keep going back to the salted caramel though - it's pretty tough to beat.

          All of the staff at Home Ideas Centre LOVEs the cupcakes that come from Petal...about once every couple of months we allow ourselves this delightful indulgence.

                  I've visited Petal cupcakes twice now, and have left feeling fairly unsatisfied both times. They offer a fairly inventive range of frosting flavours, but unfortunately the actual cupcake part is just plain on all of them. I'd really prefer to have a cupcake with more flavour to it than just a pile of icing on top.

                    Went here after people raved about it to me.  Beautiful little store in Ponsonby and the cupcakes looked fab.  Have to say i thought the taste was fairly average and not really up to the hype.  Worth a stop though if you're in the area.
