There's so many good local eateries offering up every kind of culinary style your palette could imagine and lots of sweet places to shop. I love the green smoothie with mango in it from Ceres Fresh Market for an on-the-go breakfast. And Ponsonby Central is one of my go-to spots for a working lunch when I'm in Ponsonby. Usually after lunch I'll have a little shop, offering ending up heading home with some fresh veges or meat. Awesome spot.

    Before you start sinking Savs you better line your stomach with something hearty. Phenomenal establishments such as Burger Burger, Bird on a wire and Dante’s serve up amazing food, fast, cheapish and healthyish.

        The Sapphire Room is one of the best venues in Auckland. Daniel who runs the space is great to deal with making any event a breeze. Having such a beautiful urban space that is centrally located is awesome! I liked it so much I got married here!

          Definitely worth a visit and with an hour's free parking out the back, it was a pleasant change from hunting for a park on Ponsonby Road.  Last visit we only sampled the icecream (from one of the many little stalls that are scattered everywhere).  It was delicious and there was such a range of interesting eateries tucked away at the back, we'll definitely return.  I have it on good authority that the Pizza place is outstanding.  

            A great place to spend a lazy Sunday! Off street parking available and many NZ craft too!

                If Pon"snobby" does one thing perfectly, it's gotta be the food. An array of cafes, restaurants and gourmet supply stores litter this very cool new addition to the Ponsonby Rd Strip.

                  Like many parts of Ponsonby, the green outdoor area of Ponsonby Central is fine for dogs. Just keep them on the leash and staff are happy to accomodate them as you eat at the outdoor tables.

                    Thousand Piece Puzzle is a rad little website that stocks a bunch of clothing labels such as Wood Wood, Vanishing Elephant and Soulland. It’s the one stop shop for today’s fashion conscious youth and older guys who work in advertising. Currently they have a pop up shop in Ponsonby Central where you can find some new threads if you’re prepared to spend a bit of coin.
