Best Eggs Benedict ever! They are so good that its the only thing I've tried on the menu!! Perfect combination of the pulled hock, potato gratin and the apple. Great stuff!

Sunny benches, great coffee and amazing cakes and slices. All features that make rad the perfect destination especially on lazy Sunday mornings when you have time to walk around the park or shop in the village. It’s also got a great menu, funky decor and passionate staff so its hard to be disappointed on any day.

Every now and again you discover a dish you'll travel across town to savour again. The creany Carrot Risotto made with carrot puree at RAD is that dish for me. The candied walnuts, tiny beets and soft as silk goats cheese scattered on top the clincher. I dream of this meal .

Want to make friends with the best coffee in Mt Eden? Look no further than a cup of the strong stuff from RAD. I know a local who comes here every day for their coffee because it's extracted just right and full of smooth, creamy foam. It's why when I'm looking for a proper coffee, I drive across town to come here. Epic is the only word for it!

RAD is, well, pretty damn rad. I always go for the classic Eggs Benny, which RAD puts a super cool twist on with pulled bacon hock, potato gratin and an apple salad that goes with it far better than it should. Seriously, you have to get a load of it. The grilled polenta cakes are a must try too, as well as the huge range of fresh juices and smoothies on offer.

Rad is the place to be if you want great food, healthy juices and even better coffee. The staff are warm and friendly and they always go above and beyond for you and nothing is ever an issue. Highly recommend the Vietnamese beef noodle salad - succulent steak strips with veges and noodles topped with peanuts and dressing. Can't go wrong wherever you turn over on this side of Auckland
