Good prawns

Always good authentic vege food. I must admin I get a little concerned about H&S food prep but I have been here 10+ times with no issues. For those who have eaten in India before this food and place feel a little like being back in Kolkata. Good food and authentic real India experience

Again it's about the staff, and the staff here are fun and always have a nice smile. The food is to die for and as a meat eater that is saying - a lot! The inside is a bit plan, but you can have a conversation with friends with ease and the food is a cure all. Did I mention the food - good price well made and just yummy!

Ras Vatika is my favourite indian restaurant.  It was intimidating at first as the menu does not look as simple as "butter chicken & garlic naan" and I didn't recognise many of the options.  Thankfully the menu is equipped with pictures and the staff are very happy to discuss what's available.  The prices are good for what you get - and you get the option to sample a few small dishes or have a large meal.  I recommend trying a Dabeli! :)

I've been a regular at ras vatika for a long time. The food is great and Ba (grandma in Hindi) is the warmest chef ever.

Totally impressed by this place. It is very unassuming from the outside but the staff are very friendly and the food is very cheap. It is nice to have authentic Indian that isn't just curries.

Reasonably priced, expertly made, delivered with love.  Genuine Indian food! None of this European lightly spiced fatty rubbish.  Delicate or burning with chilli - as you want it and always faultless.  My partner and I visit as often as we can justify treating ourselves.  Reasonably priced too!

I have been dining at Ras Vatika at least once a week for the last few years. Things I keep going back for include: the thalis (beautiful freshly made roti, delicious curries, to-die-for dahl), kachori (spiced peas encased in pastry, yum yum yum), chole bhature (puffed puri bread with chickpea curry, yoghurt and red onions) and the masala chat papadom. Will continue to keep going weekly as we love it so much! Some people go for the dosas, but if you get a little out of your comfort zone you might be surprised at finding your new favourite Indian snack!

I've been going to Ras Vatika about once a week for the last few years and am always finding new delicious things to try. Current favourites are the Dabeli and Chole Bhature. Also best Samosa Chat in the area (and there's some stiff competition).

Best food, great service and great place to go for Vegetarian food. Very good prices too.
