Pro: alternative vibe, good coffee, free wifi Con: Not sure? What a cool place this is! Looking out you see the Civic and inside heaps of books. Altogether, I loved the alternative style - which is such a relieving contrast from the madness on Queen Street. This is a cafe you'd expect in Grey Lynn but not in the CBD. Coffee and carrot cake was great and staff very friendly. I love the fact that they offer 50c off for people getting takeaway coffee and bringing their own cup - setting a good example!

A neat little cafe with a cornershop feel - come here the day after a big night out for some much needed mindfood and relaxation. There's a book exchange in full swing on the shelves, board games, an old arcade console (not sure if it works, though...) and inventive decor that doesn't try too hard. Sit in the window to watch the world go by on Queen Street, or on the neat DIY snowboard benches with friends.

Thanks for the review, Zinnie. Glad you enjoyed our coffee shop. Just to let you know that the arcade machine does work. It is on free play and has 42 old skool games, from Pacman to Donkey Kong, Frogger to Space Invaders . Hope to see you again soon.
