Richoux Patisserie

I'm the regular customer here from last month, their coffee is the best, I always ask for the staff Neeat to make the coffee as she makes the best one and she has also recommended few pies like chicken and cranberry pie and sausage rolls on my first visit, we've purchased them and enjoyed a lot. The American brownie is the best, I would definitely recommend this cafe among all other cafes in Ellerslie.

I went to heaven when I visited Richoux Patisserie in Ellerslie and ate one of the most delightful steak and cheese pies I've ever had. The buttery pastry was light, flaky and melted in my mouth and there was the perfect ratio of gravy, good quality chunks of steak and a generous layer of cheese. Jason and Annie's pies are classically kiwi. Plus they've got a bakery in Takapuna too - highly recommended!

It's been about 5 years since I smashed back two pies in one sitting, back in the days when I'd play two rugby games back to back and walk across to the bakery, absolutely starving. The flaky, buttery pastry and flavourful filling in their Steak and cheese pie had me inhaling my first then savouring my second, pie just like the good old days. In my humble opinion this place makes the very best pies in Auckland, you have to check em out!

The spinach and feta quiche is completely delicious and the pies are some of the best I have ever eaten.

Richoux have won a fair few awards for various "best pies" over the years. The chicken/ cranberry/ camambert pie is particularly good.
