Rogue & Vagabond is a very dog friendly craft beer bar in Glover park. Home to a particularly phlegmatic bull dog, Bruce, the bar sets up bean bags out on the grass on sunny days, where your pooch is free to play. The curly fries and pizzas are also worthy of a mention, delicious food and beverages all round.
Boasting one of the better outside areas, access to the council park outside Rogue and Vagabond make it a great summer spot. With a wide range of craft beers on ever rotating list sure to have something that strikes you. A great spot for your weekday or weekend drinks with live music on frequently as well.
Craft beer bar of Wellington for summer time in my opinion, the extension into the park out front has made this an excellent spot for sunshine beers during the weekend, or after work on a weekday, its in a prime location just of the middle of Cuba Street, with live music most nights providing interesting and excellent entertainment, if you’re looking for a place to go for a drink of some of New Zealand’s finest craft beers look no further.
Dog's aren't only welcome at one of Wellington's newest craft beer places (since writing I'm sure a few more have popped up), they are encouraged. You will usually be met by Bruce, the stocky bulldog that also features in the businesses logo, at the door. He is there most days but catch him on a Friday night when he is off the clock and hanging out with his poochy friends.
