Built in the 1950s as a multi purpose facility, the Soundshell is located on the picturesque Rotorua lakefront at the bottom of the Rotorua Central Business District.

The venue contains both an auditorium and conference/meeting room and caters for all types of events from community concerts and performances, recreational events and markets, through to conference dinners and dinner shows.

The Soundshell is a well known venue which plays host to many annual events and is often utilised as a headquarters for outdoor and lake based events.
