Hidden away from the main road amongst a courtyard of shops in Mana, Ruby’s Cafe is a bit of a local secret.

Husband and wife duo, Glenn and Ruby Porter, originally ran another local cafe years ago, so starting up a new cafe was very welcomed by the community.

Patrons come far and wide just to get a taste of what’s on offer. Ruby’s Cafe is known for their chocolate drinks (dine in or takeaway) with chocolate fish and marshmallow hat combo. If you're an early bird, you get treated with a mini scone with your takeaway coffee.

Great food, good service.

Only cost me $3. I think it might of been a special for the day.

Great place to quickly stop off if heading in or out of Wellington via SHW1

The food and coffee is great, and consistently so too which is why we keep coming back! We love going down on sunny weekends to sit outside. The outside area is sheltered from most of the wind, so its a really nice spot to enjoy a lazy sunday brunch. Also the best fluffys in town that we have found! My daughter loves coming here! Pancakes and fluffys :)

The food is great, the coffee even better the prices very reasonable - where else in the Porirua Basin can you get a hot and i mean hot latte for under $5 but the best gems are the staff. Go the Ruby's Team

I am always welcomed to Ruby's, the staff are so professionally friendly

Great place to stop by and pick up a coffee heading into work. You can call up and they will have it hot and ready by the time you come to pick it up. Quite busy around lunchtimes, so come in early if you can.
