Genta is my all time favourite japanese restaurant in Auckland!  Great atmosphere, love its menu and the food quality is always consistant!!!  Authentic Japanese food!!!  Great staff and service too! Simply love it! <3

    The veggie mountain salad is delicious and if you're not super hungry, the seafood lovers bento box is enough for two.

      Anyone that works centrally will tell you there’s an over supply of sushi on offer in the CBD. A lot of them, I find anyway, aren’t really the genuine article; canned tuna, chicken sushi and the likes. Genta on the other hand is one of the few which I find to be authentic. The staff are all super friendly Japanese, and there’s sumo always playing on the TVs. The lunch specials are always good too. I’d recommend for Kiwi Favourite lunch bento. The sashimi and sushi are super fresh and the miso soup is just as good.
