For some funky retro threads, head to Savemart Appleby. You can literally spend hours sifting through rack after rack of wearable bargains. But not only do they sell clothes but toys, books and knick knacks to fill your home with.

    I couldn't believe my luck when I happened across this Savemart store! I found a great vintage coat that was too light for a proper South Island winter but was perfect for an Auckland one. This is one very happy camper! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Invercargill.

      New Zealand's southernmost Savemart is up there with the best. This recycled clothing store is a favourite with local bargain hunters who love picking out unique second hand finds.
