Save Mart is right up there in the authentic thrift shop world, none of this fake Ponsonby type pretend op shops which sell stuff for prices you would find in a normal store. Prices are cheap as chips as they should be! Set aside a couple of hours for your visit here as there are rows upon rows of stuff and you really have to search hard for the gems, and it is better for people with slightly alternative style because everything is very thrifty like 90’s attire. All I care about is that the prices are cheap and the clothes are legit, and I always make an effort to come here. The stores themselves are low budget factory type establishments with a whole lot of stuff in it basically. Although they have separated the clothes into different categories which makes things very easy to find.

When you are a student you have to balance that fine line between having money and looking trendy. Chances are you have come to uni straight from school, hormones raging and looking to meet the girl or boy of your dreams. Before I shatter that little fantasy for you, let me tell you about a place to fill your wardrobe and leave you with enough money to take that Mr or Mrs right out on a date. Jump on a bus and head over the bridge to SaveMart. Wearing secondhand threads is ridiculously trendy at the moment so get amongst it.

I go to Savemart very often as I can find amazing vintage and second hand clothes, shoes, clothes, bags and more at awesome prices. The store is very well coordinated according to sizes, type of clothes and colours! I recently bought a super vintage bag at only $10 - my friends cannot believe it. Most importantly it opens on Sundays until 5pm!

We went in not expecting too much but after one hour of browsing we were kitted out in super summer outfits for the total of $60, and i managed to get a pair of loafers for $5.........new.It was a mum and daughter day out and she had a ball trying on whatever she wanted. the staff were friendly and approachable. I will go back in a few weeks!!
