When passing though Kaitaia be sure to stop at the Seabreeze Bakery for a great selection of sandwiches, pies and tweet treats. Sit and enjoy or keep on trucking, you'll be glad you made the stop.

Munching on a Seabreeze pie is the perfect roady treat. They serve meaty, solid pies here which are mean value for money. They also have a delightful range of other rolls, sweet treats and sandwiches incase you're not really feeling the pie buzz (unlikely).

    These guys are one of the best places to stop on your road trip to fill up the tummy tank. They have an awesome array of soft rolls, hearty sausage rolls and sweet sticky buns. I love tucking into one of their fluffy cheese rolls, it’s also the perfect stomach-settling snack if you have kids who are feeling car sick.

      Nothing flash, but a massive selection at really good prices. The super-filling vegetarian on rye sandwich is a favourite for me whenever we're passing by.
