Hands down the best laksa in Auckland. This small corner restaurant is generally packed, but service is always quick and the food is consistently delicious. The portions are huge too - 2 people can easily share a laksa when eating in (portions are a little smaller when you takeaway, but still bigger than average). Yummmmmmm!
This is a restaurant that I have visited a few times. Friendly service. Very quick to clear the table and clean them. No problems at all. My friend ordered chicken laksa and I ordered the char kway teoh. Both were a little on the spicy side but it tasted authentic. Just like something I would get from back home in Malaysia. The amount in the laksa was alright but the kway teoh would have been better if it had a bit more in it. Slightly over-priced compared to other Malaysian restaurants around town for the amount of food you get. This would be the biggest qualm I have about this place. Atmosphere - Very busy and lucky we got a place at 12 cause it filled up within 5 minutes with people. So come early or very late for lunch. Overall - Nice tastes but the price is slightly more expensive than I would have liked.
