Servilles Hair Salon - New Market

I love the pampering you get from Servilles in Newmarket! They always have great customer service and are excellent at what they do #hair

I got a grab one voucher for Servilles and wasn't sure what to expect but I was really happy with my cut and colour and thorougly enjoyed my salon experience. Will definitely be back.

Great environment (free wifi) outstanding staff who really know their stuff.  Jayne is a pro dealing with curly hair.  Top end prices but worth every cent.

I love this place!  I have gone 'off and on' for the last ten years - in both of their Newmarket locations (with the occasional dalliance to Mission Bay as well).  The staff have always been the opposite of 'nightmare hair salon' staff. A warm receptionist, and lovely space to sit and read expensive magazines, means that you never feel like you accidentally wandered into a secret club, and coffee is brought to you as often as you can drink it.  I always turn up early for any appointment and have never been ignored until 'the time is right'. I have had a few different stylists over the years - they have all been marvellous.  I have very curly, sometimes frizzy hair and I often bemoan the inability to create anything resembling something you would want to leave the house with.  Never a problem here.  Obviously my styling takes a lot longer than someone with dead straight hair but they always stick to the quoted price. From the wonderful head massage and wash to the final moments in the mirror, I have never had anything to moan about at Servilles in Newmarket!  Could not recommend it enough.

The team here are great, every step of the way you are given the full experience. They offer you REAL coffee (even mashmallows with your hot chocolate!). I left feeling like I'd walked out of a shampoo commercial with a completely new look. It's worth paying a little bit more to pamper yourself and enjoy some time out with your feet up!

Servilles is one of the best hair salons I've tried in Auckland (since I've been here, I tried several before settling on Servilles). It's pretty pricey - a visit will probably set you back between 200 to 300 or more dollars - but so worth it.  You see where the extra money goes - every step of the experience is great, even down to the chairs they seat you in - it's a very luxurious salon. You get a complimentary GHD hair styling at the end of the visit, and the hairdressers are awesome with the tongs. To save a bit of money, it makes sense to go to somewhere like Hue inbetween for highlights, and to visit Servilles once in a while for a bit of pampering and a cut.
