Sileni Estate is breaking more records having just created another great wine from the Hawke’s Bay’s 2013 vintage, an area more celebrated for its Syrah, Merlot and other white grape varieties. The Plateau Pinot Noir 2013 has just topped the prize list at the 34th Sydney International Wine Competition taking the title from the more celebrated Pinot Noir regions of Australia and New Zealand. Another cracker from the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District near Hastings.

    I think this was the last stop on the tour, bought a few bottles here, staff were very friendly, another gorgeous vineyard.
