For any spicy food lovers out there, this is THE place to go in Auckland.

Their hand written menu on the whiteboard changes depending on what's in stock and season. But what doesn't change is the quality of the food - or the number of people trying to get a table in this Spicy House.

Their signature dishes include chilli chicken and deep fried ribs. Yes, a whole rib rack deep fried. Don't try to be a hero and order extra spicy - you might regret it in the morning.

We eat here like twice a week.. Every time we get the Chili chicken(boneless) And then try other dishes- every dish is incredible.

So much flavor and not too spicy

Great food and my favorite dumplings in Auckland :)

Great food and my favorite dumplings in Auckland :)

Best sweet and sour pork ever! The top 10 popular dishes are written up on a huge whiteboard so if you're new, just refer to the list. Love the fact this place opens till 3-4am..

Had the spicy taste pork (I think it’s called) and the pork n chives dumplings oh so yummy. Value for money definitely and the food is divine. I had take out but you can stay in and eat and yes its BYO. Will be back to try the remaining dishes

Tried this place today and was surprised with the tones coming through in the meal it was something new and fresh which set it apart from the stereo typical Chinese takeaway can’t wait to head back, plus it’s open till 6 am :)

The top list on the wall is definitely worth looking at we orders a few dishes from the list and they were superb. They were a step away from the mundane Chinese takeaways which all taste so so similar. The hot and spicy dishes are worth a try if you can handle the heat.

Yes it's BYO

This place is magic. Hearty, spicy, warming chinese meals. It seems pretty authentic to me (though who am I to judge?). Must eats: The braised pork hock, deep fried squid with spicy taste, and the delicious dumplings. Probably not the best place to take a vegan, but if you're a fan of eating creatures, this is the spot. I rate it over New Flavour and Barilla for sure.
