It has a great selections of dim sum and the price is really reasonable compared to others. It is also clean and tidy which I really appreciate :)

Sounds nice :)

Sun World probably can't be compared to Grand Harbour in terms of ambiance and services. Their food, however, is as good and costs less. It's always crowded so remember to make a reservation, or you'll have to wait to get a table.

Neat :)

There is a very busy place all the time, I had been there with my family last week during New Year Holiday. The food was so great even they were very  busy. they are still keep high standard quality food at all times. I love the fresh seafood, especially the paua cooked in home made XO Sauce. Beautiful!

Sounds great :)

Get in early for yum char, this place gets super busy! Hugely popular with the Asian population. Service is fast as they want you to eat quickly so they can clear the table and seat the next lot of customers. Try the prawn dumplings, pork buns (and of you are adventurous) chicken feet.

Lovely :)

If you're looking for a yum char place which is excellent and not too heavy on the pockets then this is it. The food is excellent, the service is great. Only thing make a booking before you go or else there will be quite a big wait time, since it is always packed. Will definitely go some more time with other friends.

Sounds good :)

The food is good as usual - especially the egg tarts!

Yum Cha - or translated into English: Drink Tea. It is one of those Chinese traditions where after your early morning exercise/workout, you'll go to a tea house, sit down and enjoy the aroma of the tea and have breakfast. These days, most Chinese (more specifically Cantonese style) restaurants will offer Yum Cha for brunch and lunch (some even offer it for dinner), where Dim Sum (Chinese tapas/small plates) are pushed around on carts, and diners pick and choose from a wide range of food offerings - from steamed buns (BBQ pork, chicken and vegetable, to sweet lotus seed paste), to dumplings (prawns, chinese chives and seafood), Shui Mai (typically with pork and shrimp), spring rolls, sticky rice rolls, to the more "adventurous" such as chicken feet, beef tripe... the choices are endless! My family has been coming to this local restaurant for the past decade, and nearly every other weekend it has been a tradition to meet up on a Sunday morning. We have been to many Chinese (Cantonese) restaurants that do Yum Cha around Auckland, and Sun World is definately the best in Auckland that offers Yum Cha. The good food and good atmosphere offer an authentic Hong Kong Yum Cha experience that we all grew up with. Service is always superb, the wait staff very attentive and always there to help you with any questions that you might have. They also do dinner service as well and the food is equally as good, however for me, Yum Cha service is definately what draws me back to this place again and again.
