Had a lot of fun tonight, trying some new food and wine. And finally tried a few products that I have been seeing about the place. (OOb ice cream and the stay fresh guac. YUM!) Picked up a few tips, like finely shredding mint on strawbs is really good. Simple, but have never done it! Nice vibe and a big range of restaurants and products. Went with hubby and would be fun with a few others too.
Just want to say thanks to the team at Localist for me and my partner being able to enjoy a great afternoon and evening at TONZ. We walked around a bit first and sussed out what food stalls there were to buy and taste from before we made out decision. Our first taste was from the Mylasian Kitchen were we got the Laksa. It was pretty food but just a little too much sprouts. Our next taster was the Beef Curry and then our last one was the Beef Cheek from James which for us was by far the best of the night. after all our little taste testers we purchased a few other goodies from around the festival including some drinks, Ice creams and Turkish Breads and dips. We even took in a couple of cooking demos from Garry Rhodes, Nadia Lim and Simon Gault. And also had a chat to former Master Chef contestant Kelly Young who was the MC for the Chefs Kitchens. Great afternoon/evening out once again thanks Localist for making it happen
