Covering a wide, expansive area, Tauhara Park is one of the places Hamilton locals love to go with their kids when the sun is shining.

There's a fantastic adventure playground that's huge and is the best in the city. Plus there's a large sports-field and an off-leash dog area.

On the Callum Brae side of the park, there is also a great mini-golf course that's a hit with young and old.

A doggie's delight - lots of off-leash fun to be had at Tauhara Park! This is a huge space, nice and central to town and you gotta check out the mini-golf course (if your furry bestie doesn't mind being tied up for awhile after a good run around!).

    Our family calls this place Callum Brae Park because that’s what the suburb is called and it is one of our all-time favourites. There is this really cool hampster wheel and Jesse ended up using it to train on before The Amazing Race to get fit. You can literally run around and around on the wheel - the kids love it. Plus if the weather is good in summer, there is a great family mini-golf place there too. Make sure you allow lots of time because there is so much to do here!
