Nothing brings out the competitive edge more so than a game of mini putt. That innocent person who is usually so calm and collected becomes Shooter McGavin and fist pumps every time they sink the ball.

The Tauranga Mini Golf course is perfect though for you to challenge the family and friends to a quick round of 18 holes. Located in the lush Memorial Park on the Tauranga Waterfront, it's the perfect place to bring a picnic and relax after chasing par.

Watch out for the tricky 4th hole with it's swinging paddle arm!

It’s difficult to be terrible at mini golf so if you’re looking for an ‘activity date’ without embarrassing yourself through lack of fitness or experience, it’s a good option. It offers the competitive aspect - allowing men to prove their prowess - but is also something that someone with very little experience can unexpectedly shine at. Either way it’s a fun thing to do together on a summer’s day.

Mini putt is one of my favourite summertime activities. But there is always one mate who just takes it too far and becomes too competitive ruining it for everyone. Luckily the Tauranga mini golf course has a little tuck shop to buy them an ice cream to keep them cool!

Located at Memorial Park. A newly renovated 19 hole course, suited for all age groups and skill levels.
