The Bakehouse Cafe is popular over the weekends when it caters to those looking for a late night/early morning snack before heading home after a long night in town.

Owner and baker, Tha Mao, wanted to make sure his customers were well fed so decided on opening the bakery and cafe 24 hours a day to serve those in need.

Just make sure you always blow on the pie.

The Bakehouse in Hamilton is the go-to place for late nighters out in H-town. There aren't many good 24hr bakeries so I was stoked to stumble upon this one one night out with the girls. The pies were hot, straight out of the oven, and packed with delicious mince, good cheese, and yummy gravy.

    Not for the faint hearted. Imagine two big juicy lamb chops, a pile of chunky chips and 2 runny eggs to top off. This is man-food at it's finest.

      My favorite place to go in the morning after a night out in Hamilton, right on the main street so always close to our accom. They open till the early hours also so you can head there after the club closes (along with the rest of Hamilton) and get a feed before making your way home.
