Quickly becoming an Invercargill institution, Batch Cafe is a place that locals are soon going to have to share with the rest of the country.

Owners Gareth, Donna and Kate have put their heart and souls into this cafe and it has paid off. In 2013 Batch Cafe was the first cafe to ever win the Hospitality New Zealand Awards for Excellence Supreme Champion award.

Batch Cafe offers an awesome vibe, terrific staff and superb food. You will be back here time and time again.

Not only is the food, service and atmosphere second-to-none in Invercargill. but the espresso is ridiculously good! Even Nigella Lawson thinks so

      The Batch Cafe makes great desserts. They have a delicious selection of sweet slices, brownies and cakes that they serve up beautifully for the diners or as an on-the-go treat! Perfect teamed with a great coffee.

        An award winning cafe, The Batch is quite possibly Invercargill's most loved coffee shop. The cute space is decked out to resemble a batch and the staff are always busy serving up some really good savoury scones and muffins.

          The Batch Cafe is famous around Invers for its warm service, charming situation and unbeatable food and coffee. The cheese scones are a must to take away for a indulgent afternoon tea. A must try for breakfast is the lemon and ricotta pancakes with blueberries - or the eggs bene, which is reported to be the best in the south.
