    For a hearty meal that won’t cost a packet, The Denniston Dog is a popular restaurant. Wanting lamb shanks? Well they come served with a tomato, red wine and rosemary jus with creamy mash and seasonal vegetables. How about steak? Well there’s an aged 400gm steak on the bone served with your choice of mash, fries, vegetables or salad. Dinner is good at The Denniston Dog.

      Denniston Dog is based near Westport’s historical Denniston coal fields and caters to all dietary needs. This place is great for picking up lunch for on-the-go or for relaxing over a tasty brunch. On the brunch menu, choose from creamy seafood chowder, chicken sandwiches and tempura seafood. The only problem with the brunch menu is that isn’t served until midday!
