wow. I have been to a handful of  5 star restaurants in Auckland, and after visiting the grove, it's obvious that not all stars are created equal. Each course was exquisite. portions and pacing were suited perfectly through the evening. A huge shoutout to the owner from the States and his amazing staff, who were of course knowledgeable but also very creative in their pairings. I guess there's a reason the grove 's is 1 of the best restaurants in Auckland. now it's also one of MY favourite restaurants in auckland!  

      Well, Metro magazine says it's the best restaurant in Auckland and the food is fabulous.
