The Last Post is a popular Oamaru haunt for young families, and I particularly love it because it’s also a fun place to have a pint. The stuff are lovely and the kids menu has great and healthy options.

    For all things eating, drinking and rugby watching, head to The Last Post in Oamaru. Nicola and Heather who own and run this place are perfectionists so expect only the best service and meals. Their TV screens are the best in town for watching the World Cup!

      For piping hot soup served with piles of ciabatta bread there's only one place to go ... The Last Post. This Oamaru institution is my favourite place to hang on a cold winter's evening.

        This quaint restaurant is full of classic Kiwi dishes like kiwi burgers and smashed saffron potatoes. A warming restaurant with load of heart, The Last Post is my favourite place to dine in Oamaru.
