The Moose has it all, from an exciting kids' menu to a whole range of styles of their signature dish - The good ol' steak!

This family friendly bar and restaurant has the best view of any bar in Southland. The beer selection is small but perfectly formed and the dinners here are massive and very hearty. Try the steak with garlic prawns, it’s my favourite ….

Named after the legendary Moose that were released into the Fiordland mountains, the Moose Bar and Restaurant features all-day dining and an admirable television screen to keep the men satisfied, the Moose is a great place to socialise with groups both young and old.

      A fun restaurant for the whole family and located the near the beautiful Lake Te Anau, have a drink in the beer garden or watch your favourite sport on the big screen. The Moose is famous for their amazing steak! And for those who like to try their luck, there are also a couple of TAB machines.
