For spectacular views of the ocean, it's hard to go past restaurant/cafe The Pavilion. This unique establishment is a favourite of mine for the fresh local produce and charming service.

    Fresh, flaky fish handpicked right outside the restaurant. The Pavilion pride themselves on their substantial portion sizes, you will never be served up any less than three large blue cod fillets for their large meal and two for their usual! Perfection teamed with a fresh lemon wedge, hand cut chips and a fresh salad. Bliss!

      The Pavilion at Colac Bay offers spectacular ocean views while you dine at this exclusive restaurant. Their food is fresh, local, complicated and pays tribute to the classic Kiwi favourites that our nation favours. Try their sumptuous winter menu including a range of gourmet pies and delicious soups – all made fresh daily!
